As our church community grows in number we are committed to keeping it small. We believe in big thinking, big vision, big impact and large gatherings. However, smaller groups provide the best environment for friendships to develop and growth to happen.
We have small groups hosted in homes across East Lancashire called Life Groups. In this section you will also find activities for different age groups and events for men and women.
Don’t sit on the edge! Dive right in to the family of Life Church.
Small groups are all hosted online in homes across East Lancashire. We are currently operating online due to government regulations around the COVID-19 outbreak.
Life Groups are the perfect place to build great relationships, find help on your spiritual journey, and experience life together.
If you’re not part of a group then we definitely recommend finding one near you or one you’d like. Most Groups meet on Thursdays at 7.30pm.
For more information and a full list of groups please head to our Life Groups page.
To join a group online please e-mail [email protected] and we can connect you to a group leader.
Now that our Sunday gatherings are back in person you can register your child into Life Kids by booking a Life Kids pass here.
Please note there is a limited provision for children at this time. This includes the socially distanced Orange room for babies and toddlers. Please bring your own toys if you plan to use this space. The Red Room, aimed at preschool and primary school, will be led by our Life Kids team. Social distancing measures will be in place and children will be brought to the Red Room by their parent or guardian using the one way system as part of the check-in process before the gathering starts. Children should then be collected at the end of the gathering using the same one way system. No resources will be shared between households.
Should you decide not to send your children to Life Kids they must remain in their parent, or guardians, care at all times, and be booked a seat as part of their household. All of our Life Kids team operate under the Life Church Child Protection Policy.
The Noise is our youth ministry and is for everyone age 11-17 and in High School or College (Year 7-13).
We are currently running our in person Friday night gathering – ‘The Noise Fridays’ – 7:00 – 8:45pm.
In order to meet with Government Guidelines for Places of worship we have made some changes to our youth gatherings. Please drop off young people at the building between 7:00pm to 7:15pm, they will then be asked to sign in and follow the one way system. Please pick up young people at 8:45pm promptly. Social distancing will be observed throughout the gathering, and we are not permitted to sing at this time. Masks must be worn at all times, unless a young person is exempt by showing their exemption card or the sunflower lanyard. Tuck shop will not be available at the moment.
In order to support the NHS Test and Trace programme, we already have a registration system for The Noise Fridays. We will need to re-register any young people who have previously attended to be able to fulfill NHS requirements and a fresh registration from any new young person.
Life Groups are hosted online on Thursday’s at 7:30pm. For more info check out the Life Groups section on this web page.
The department is led by our Youth Leader, Dan Randall (pictured above).
All our youth workers operate under the Life Church Child Protection Policy.
As well as a regular programme of social events, Life Women host ‘The Red Room Sessions’—an evening of coffee and conversation, all to the sounds of live music. Expect fascinating interviews and thought-provoking topics. Bring friends, everyone is welcome!
