Life Church Value: A Missional Community
We exist not for ourselves but to transform the world in service to others.
In addition to our events, groups, and the activity of our church community, we are engaged in specific projects and strategic partnerships in service to our local area. These are just some of the local mission projects we are currently engaged with and they all represent great opportunities for you to get involved in serving your community.
Life Church has a long history of serving local schools in Burnley by providing assemblies, lessons, clubs, mentoring, and other support. Our schools team, run in partnership with Pais, are currently working regularly in both Primary Schools and High Schools across the town.
Life Church partners with Spacious Place Engage to provide food parcels for families experiencing financial difficulty whilst befriending them and connecting them to other community initiatives at Life Church. For enquiries regarding Food Bank please contact Spacious Place Engage directly on 01282 222 030.
SafeNet empowers women and children to live free from domestic violence and abuse. Life Church provides support through the donation of clothing and household items, gifts for the women and children, pamper days, and friendship.
Across the year Life Church hosts several days and weekends of mission activity in the local area, often in partnership with Pais. Projects have included community clean-ups, gardening, decorating, and giveaways, as well as hosting Fun Days on our huge field.
